Dr. Laura Wiles is the daughter of a military
pilot. She and her 2 brothers grew up in England and Germany,
where the family was stationed when she was a child. Laura earned
a Bachelors Degree in elementary education from Texas A&M
in 1994, then taught computer science for four years in the Dallas
Independent School District. Laura returned to Texas A&M to
pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian and graduated
from veterinary college in 2003. She is now part-time at Katy
Trail, but works shifts at the Emergency Animal Clinic in Richardson,
too. Laura lives in East Dallas with her cats, Levi, Libby, Amiga,
Frances, Nick, Mr. Claus, and Bug, as well as Lupe, the Chihuahua.
