Amy was born in Dallas, Texas and has lived here her whole life. She has always had a soft spot for animals. She graduated in 1992 and went to work at her first animal clinic. From then, her passion for animals ignited and has been in the veterinary industry since.

Amy and her family live in Garland. Although she is an only child, she has a large family of her own. She is married to a twin and they have twin boys and a daughter. Amy also has two stepchildren. They share their home with Zeke a Pitbull and Diesel a Boston terrier.
