Born in Dallas and raised in Athens Texas, Debbie attended Stephan F. Austin State University before beginning her veterinary career. With two veterinarian cousins and a veterinary nurse sister, working with animals runs in the family.

Although Debbie and her husband Blake have two wonderful daughters, Chloe and Katie Beth, Debbie readily admits that her "first born" is Mikey. Mikey is a Norfolk terrier she helped deliver by C-Section. Jess, a rescued Golden Retriever, Crosby, a bottle fed kitten, Hudson, a Labrador Retriever, Murphy a kitten abandoned in the court yard at Katy Trail and Nicco, a most precious dwarf Siamese cat complete the Bumbard household.

Debbie loves spending time with her family and friends. Her pastimes include camping, floating the Guadeloupe, and traveling. She feels very fortunate to have found a career working with pets and their families and feels rewarded every day.
