Born in Abilene and raised in Midland, Denise is the youngest of 3 children. In keeping with the family tradition of entrepreneurship, she founded her own accounting business in 2000. She graduated in 1994 with a BA in Accounting from Texas A&M Commerce, and has worked in the Dallas area since then.

She and her husband married in 1999 and they are the proud parents of two boys and one girl. Denise spends her time with her family, traveling with her mom, and attending musicals and concerts by the Dallas Symphony.
